BLUETS Created by Ellenor riley-condit and leigh hendrix with the syndicate

As the sun rises right behind her desk, the Writer turns to the audience and says, “Suppose I were to begin by saying that I had fallen in love with a color…” Adapted from the intensely personal book of prose poetry by critically acclaimed writer Maggie Nelson, Bluets takes an intimate, philosophical look at grief, loss, desire, healing, and, of course- the color blue. Actor Ellenor Riley-Condit and The Syndicate translate Nelson’s singular voice for the stage in this solo performance.

Bluets was first presented as part of Syndicated at IRT Theater in NYC in August of 2018.
